Your assets, to the cent and to the unit.
No sign-up: a demonstration fleet, read-only.
Register is the asset register of Circular OS. A dropped invoice becomes twenty bikes in the register, each with its book and tax depreciation plan. A scan on a phone finds one of them in the stockroom. The entries go to your accountant.
From the invoice to the entries
Invoice
An invoice arrives (Factur-X, PDF or photo). "20 × VAE Samedi 28.1 — €48,000 net."
Register
The clerk proposes twenty assets: frame and battery as components, category, entity, store, useful life and the rule cited. You approve.
Plan
The plan: straight-line for the books, declining balance for tax, derogatory difference computed, to the cent.
Rental and repair
A bike goes out on rental (Rental), comes back, goes to repair (Repair): its charge cycles and costs feed its value.
Inventory
Inventory campaign in Annecy: scan, photo, "498 found out of 500", two gaps resolved.
Entries
Closing: depreciation posted, FEC downloaded, entries sent to Pennylane.
What Register knows about every asset
- What you own
- one register, by entity and by store, with the Retrace product identifier.
- Where it is
- every move is dated, justified, signed; inventory is done on a phone.
- What it is worth
- the net book value, computed to the cent, and the estimated market value next to it, never mixed up.
- What it costs you
- acquisition, repairs, inspections, insurance; what it earns: rentals.
No data entry, exact computation
An asset enters from its invoice, purchase order, export or label photo, read by an agent. Every field says where it comes from. You approve. The amounts never come out of a language model: the depreciation engine is deterministic and tested against the examples published by the French tax administration.
Who it is for
Bike, ski and equipment rental companies
each unit with what it cost, what it earned, what it is still worth.
Store networks
each store owns and depreciates its assets; head office sees the aggregate and the gaps across 300 stores.
Workshops and SMEs
tools, vehicles and fittings enter from the invoice, no spreadsheet.
Inside the Circular universe
Same login, same entities and stores, same credits as Rental, Repair, Recheck, Refit, Re/use and Retrace. Register puts a price on what the other platforms handle.
What Register does not do
No general ledger, no invoicing, no merchandise inventory, no planned maintenance. Register produces entries; your accountant keeps the books.
